Lauretta Onochie, a Special assistant to president Buhari on social media, has weighed in on the reality TV show called Big Brother Naija 2018. According to Onochie, the Nigerian government has no power to move or stop immoralities on the show as it was an adult programme. She wrote on her Twitter page; “Stop asking me to fix Big Brother Naija. I Don’t have such powers. Big Brother is an adult programme. If your children are watching it, it’s your fault, not mine.”

Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has revealed that he extended an invitation to President Buhari to come to Benue and console with victims of Fulani herdsmen attacks, but it wasn’t honored. Speaking on a television programme last weekend, Ortom said that as president, it was Buhari’s duty to provide citizens of the country with security but failed to take action to curb the killings.
