The Prince will follow the old tradition of awarding Maundy money to community stalwarts at the yearly celebration, which is a significant occasion on the royal calendar. The monarch, who turns 96 on April 21, is unable to commit to attending, according to a royal source, because she does not want her absence to overshadow the event. As a result, a note is made in advance that she will not be present. Since being hospitalized for a night in October for an undisclosed ailment, the monarch has reduced her physical commitments. Doctors had urged her to relax despite the fact that it was
