New season, new opening credits. Raise your glasses high...eyeglasses that is, as Vanderpump Rules has just debuted the official opening credits for season six, premiering on Tuesday, Dec. 4. And while boss Lisa Vanderpump 's iconic strut into SUR's doors remains the same as last season, the rest of the cast has filmed new opening shots, including the newly single Scheana Marie , who looks ready to mingle in the new opener. Nigeria: Probe Mounir Gwarzo over N104m severance package ā€“ CACOL petitions Dogara

A civil society group, the Centre for Anti-Corruption and Open Leadership (CACOL), has petitioned the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, demanding the probe of the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Mounir Gwarzo. It had reported that Gwarzo allegedly collected a severance package of N104 million from SEC shortly after he was named its director-general in 2015. He allegedly paid himself the said sum as an entitlement for being executive commissioner for two-and-a-half years. In a letter by Debo Adeniran, CACOL executive chairman, the group described Gwarzoā€™s act as a ā€œtotal disregard for the standing rule in the civil serviceā€. The group said ā€œseverance benefit can only be paid to an employee who has concluded his or her service and has completely disengaged from service and not to an employee who has been promoted within the commission as is in the case of Mr Gwarzoā€. Nigeria: What we want from Buhariā€™s govt ā€“ South-east, South-south governors

The South-East and South-South Governorsā€™ Forum on Monday called on the ā€‹Buhari government to increase allocation to the states from the Federation Account. The governors made the call in a communiquĆ© at the end of the forumā€™s meeting in Uyo. Theā€‹ communiquĆ© signed by its Chairman, Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, expressed concern that in spite of increase in oil price and production level, revenue accruing to states had not reflected such realities. ā€œThe forum therefore urges the Federal Government to ensure improved revenue allocation to the states to reflect the current realities to enable the states meet the yearnings and expectations of their people. ā€œThe forum also proposed that the Federal Government should relinquish all federal roadsā€‹ ā€‹to states, where such roads are located, facilitate legislation that would ease concession of the roadsā€‹ā€. ā€‹ The governors appealed for current intervention on critical infrastructure located in the South-So...
