Mum Heartbroken As Daughter Was Murdered

  The mum of a young woman killed in a suspected murder-suicide has paid tribute to her daughter. Gracie Spinks, 23, died in a paddock in Duckmanton, Derbyshire,  around 8.40am on Friday, and the body of a man in his 30s - said to be a former work colleague - was found several fields away at about 11am. In a heartbreaking tribute, Gracie's mum, Alison Heaton, wrote on Facebook : "My beautiful daughter Gracie taken away from me, her dad and brother and sister and everyone who loved and cared for her." Mrs Heaton added broken heart and crying emojis, and changed her Facebook profile picture to a photo of her daughter with a pink frame stating: "Stop violence against women, justice for women". Other family members, including Gracie's dad Richard, have also added the frame to their profile pictures.  Police have launched an appeal to find a 12-year-old boy who was last seen driving his mountain bike. Charlie O'Brien was last seen at round 4.20pm yesterday afternoon in John Lee Park, Altrincham, Greater Manchester. He was driving his black Carrera mountain bike, police said. Charlie is described as having brown hair, 4'11 tall and of medium build. When he was last seen, he was wearing a white Adidas top, white shorts and black Puma pumps. Greater Manchester Police stated on their Facebook page: "Officers are becoming more and more concerned for the welfare of Charlie and want to make sure he is found safe and well." An appeal tweeted by the force says: "Can you help police find missing 12y/o boy Charlie O'Brien? "He was last seen around 4.20pm today (20 June) in John Lee Park riding a black Carrera mountain bike."   Ministers are today going through calls to relax overseas holiday policies after new data revealed fewer than one in 200 travelers from amber list countries tested positive for Covid. Just 89 of the 23,465 people who travelled into the UK from amber list nations at the end of last month and the begin of this month had a negative Covid test, NHS Test and Trace shows. The cases all came from just sixteen of the 167 nations on the amber list, according to the data. And there have been no cases classed as being 'variants of concern' - Alpha, Beta, Delta or Gamma variants - the figures show. Ministers say the strict overseas travel policies are there to limit the risk of hazardous variants from reaching the UK.
