Richard Branson, Virgin Galactic Extend Spaceflight Ninety minutes, Still Plan To Make Records Sunday

Virgin Galactic and founder-passenger Richard Branson on Sunday delayed for ninety minutes their historical spaceflight however stated the exhibit will go on. The brief flight from Spaceport America in Sierra County, New Mexico, was delayed to 10:30 a.m. ET. "Overnight climate delayed the start of flight preparations, however we are on track to fly today with a newly scheduled time," Virgin Galactic tweeted early Sunday. Barkevious Mingo Arrested For Alleged 'Indecency With A Child

  Atlanta Falcons linebacker Barkevious Mingo was arrested Thursday and accused of sexual contact with a child, according to the Arlington (Texas) Police Department. Mingo posted a $25,000 bond and was launched from custody, according to Tarrant County, Texas, bond records. The alleged offense is a felony in Texas that can carry up to 20 years in jail depending on whether it is a 2nd or third-degree charge. Mingo turned himself in after talking to his attorney, an Arlington Police press launch stated. Due to the nature of the alleged incident, the Arlington Police Department could not launch any extra information. Columbia Heights Woman Dies After Obvious Home Assault

  Police are investigating the demise of a 33-year-old Columbia Heights woman following a home incident. Officers replied to a 911 medical call at a domestic in the 5100 block of NE. 4th St. at 6 a.m. Saturday. When police arrived, they discovered a woman who had been injured, according to an Anoka County Sheriff's Department information release. First responders tried to revive the woman, however she died at the scene, police said. Police did not launch the woman's name or the nature of her injuries Saturday. The case "appears to be an isolated domestic-related incident with no ongoing threat to the public," police said. Police booked a 32-year-old man on likely cause for first-degree manslaughter, but no formal charges have been filed.
