World-renowned British physicist Stephen Hawking - who has died - leaves three children. Hawking, 76, died peacefully at his home in Cambridge in the early hours of Wednesday, March 14. The scientist has three grown up children from his first marriage to university sweetheart Jane Wilde. In a statement on Wednesday, his children, Lucy, Robert and Tim paid tribute to their father: "We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today.
