According To A Leak, Boris Johnson Was Given A Police Questionnaire 'Under Caution' As Part Of The Partygate Investigation

The questionnaires are part of a police investigation into 12 gatherings, six of which are said to have been attended by the Prime Minister. According to released documents, the police questionnaire given to Boris Johnson regarding the No 10 parties was the equivalent of the Prime Minister being interrogated under oath. Mr Johnson and other No 10 workers were asked to provide a "lawful exemption" or "fair cause" for the gatherings, according to a copy of the poll acquired by ITV News. According to ITV, the document is practically the written equivalent of a police interrogation under oath, making Mr Johnson the first prime minister to be subjected to such scrutiny.
