Apple to cut iPhone 13 production in case of chip shortage

Apple Inc. is likely to cut its 2021 iPhone 13 production targets by 10 million units as a prolonged chip shortage has affected its flagship. 

He expected to produce 90 million new iPhone models in the last three months of the year, but now tells his production partners the total will be lower as Broadcom Inc. and Texas Instruments Inc. are due struggling to provide enough components, they said. , who asked not to be identified as the situation is private.
