Johnson 'Had No Scoobydoo' About Deal, Cummings Says As UK Braces For EU Proposal
Dominic Cummings says Downing Street has always intended to 'give up' the parties to the Brexit deal and that Boris did not really understand what the deal meant.
The former chief adviser to the Prime Minister said Boris Johnson "never had a scoobydoo" on the implications of the deal as the government urges Brussels to review the Northern Ireland protocol.
"The proposals to resolve the situation - have been called 'very alarming' by Irish Deputy Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, who warned political leaders not to make any deal with the British government until they are" guaranteed to keep their promises.
"Maros Sefcovic, vice-president of the European Commission, has promised" very far-reaching "changes to manage the movement of goods through the Irish Sea. Reports suggest he will propose lifting the half of customs controls on goods and more than half of controls on meat and plant products.
