After the death of Zaian Aimable-Lina, a 15-year-old girl, a second arrest was made.

 According to the Met Police, Zaian Aimable-Lina died of a stab wound to the heart, as determined by a post-mortem on New Year's Day. Specialist officers are assisting the teen's family as the police investigation into the event in Croydon continues.

Following the death of a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed in a park in south London, police have made a second arrest.

Zaian Aimable-Lina was knifed in the heart just after 7 p.m. on Thursday in Ashburton Park, Croydon, and died at the scene.

Scotland Yard said a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder late Saturday and is still in custody.

Another 15-year-old boy, who was detained the day before on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail until January.

According to the Met Police, Zaian's cause of death was a stab wound to the heart, as determined by a post-mortem on New Year's Day.

He was from the local region in south London, according to cops, and his family is being helped by professional personnel.

Zaian's death, according to Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard, sent "shockwaves" across the neighborhood.
