 According to the Met Police, Zaian Aimable-Lina died of a stab wound to the heart, as determined by a post-mortem on New Year's Day. Specialist officers are assisting the teen's family as the police investigation into the event in Croydon continues.

Following the death of a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed in a park in south London, police have made a second arrest.

Zaian Aimable-Lina was knifed in the heart just after 7 p.m. on Thursday in Ashburton Park, Croydon, and died at the scene.

Scotland Yard said a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder late Saturday and is still in custody.

Another 15-year-old boy, who was detained the day before on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail until January.
