Marjorie Taylor Greene's Personal Twitter Account Has Been Permanently Disabled.

Twitter has again disabled Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's personal account, this time indefinitely.

According to Twitter spokeswoman Trenton Kennedy, the account "@mtgreenee" was cited for multiple violations of the social media platform's COVID-19 disinformation policy.

This is the account's seventh suspension, following a 12-hour suspension in July 2021 and a seven-day suspension in August 2021 for spreading false information on COVID-19

According to Twitter's policies, five or more strikes result in a permanent suspension. Greene's other Twitter account, @ReptMTG, is still active.

Greene has slammed federally mandated COVID-19 control measures on many occasions. She has been penalized several times for neglecting to wear a mask on the House floor, and she once equated safety standards to the Holocaust.

Greene once tweeted that the coronavirus was not deadly to persons under the age of 65 who were not obese, and that immunizations were unnecessary. She stated in August that the immunizations were "failed."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the assertions are unfounded.

As the pandemic enters its third year, Twitter has imposed a suspension. As a result of personnel shortages, cases of the omicron variety are on the rise across the country, resulting in record hospitalizations and canceled flights. More instances were recorded in the United States in the previous six days than in the entire month of November.
