After Stopping His Medication, Oliver Hudson Posted A Video Of Himself Experiencing Severe Anxiety

Oliver Hudson is speaking up about how coming off his medicine last year left him with "severe anxiety."

The 45-year-old actor can be seen on film detailing how he came off Lexapro some months before to making the video, after taking it for five and a half years to alleviate his anxiety.

Hudson shared how he felt that day and how the process has gone since he decided to stop taking his medications.

In the video, he says, "It's been extremely tough for me." "It's been torturous. Debilitating. To be honest, it's somewhat frightening. It's a little scary at times. However, I am in a good mood right now. I'm in a fantastic mood. It may only last an hour, and I may return to my previous state, but for now, I'm going to bask in normalcy."

Hudson noted in the description to the 2021 video that he was "in the throes of tremendous anxiety" and that he had few moments where he felt normal. He also admitted that he debated whether or not to share the video, adding that he was "afraid it was too self-indulgent." "It very well may be [self-indulgent], but f**k it," he agreed.
