Misogyny, Racism, Bullying, And Sex Harassment Have All Been Uncovered By The Metropolitan Police Service.
The police watchdog has revealed "disgraceful" misogyny, discrimination, bullying, and sexual harassment among the ranks of the Met Police.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) issued 15 recommendations after officers were found to have joked about rape and exchanged inappropriate social media posts.
According to the IOPC, the majority of the officers probed were police constables assigned to Charing Cross Police Station.
"We are terribly sorry," the Met added.
"We believe these occurrences are not isolated or merely the behavior of a few 'bad apples," the IOPC wrote in its report.
The investigation was begun in March 2018 into nine separate independent probes involving serving Metropolitan Police officers.
According to the IOPC, investigations began after an officer allegedly had sex with a vulnerable lady in a chamber inside a London police station, though this claim was never proven.
Two of the 14 policemen investigated were fired for egregious misconduct and placed on the prohibited list, barring them from working for the police in the future.

Nine of them are still on the force, while another works as a contractor in a staff position.
