Police Intimidated A Man At The Horse Guards Parade, So He Was Arrested

After allegedly confronting police at Horse Guards Parade in Westminster, a man has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily injury.

On Monday morning, two Ministry of Defence police officers were approached by a guy wielding a knife in central London's historic neighborhood, according to police.

Officers used a Taser on him and subdued him.

Prashanth Kandaiah, 29, of Thamesmead, south-east London, is scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court at a later date.

Mr Kandaiah, of Mellion Close, is also charged with illegal knife possession.
