Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-C has revealed that she is single and searching. Cee-c who seem to be in love triangle with other housemate, Tobi disclosed this on Friday morning. Nigeria: Serap Backs Saraki On Single Pay for Ex-Governors

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has backed the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on his call that all ex-governors still serving in government should not receive pensions from their states. Saraki on Wednesday had commended the Kwara State House of Assembly for heeding his call and passing a bill to stop pensions of ex-governors still holding elective or appointive positions. Saraki had then called on other states and their assemblies to emulate Kwara state by passing a similar bill to abolish double pay. In backing the stance of Saraki, SERAP challenged the chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari and his colleagues to show commitment and end double pay for ex-governors and their deputies. Trade wars are good, says Trump

US President Donald Trump has said "trade wars are good", amid controversy over his decision to impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. He tweeted that the US was "losing billions of dollars on trade" and would find a trade war "easy to win". On Thursday he said steel imports would face a 25% tariff and aluminum 10%. Canada and the EU said they would bring forward their own countermeasures. Mexico, China and Brazil have also said they are considering retaliatory steps. Critics argue that the tariffs would fail to protect American jobs and would ultimately put up prices for consumers. The news sent shares in both Asia and Europe down on Friday.

Lauretta Onochie, a Special assistant to president Buhari on social media, has weighed in on the reality TV show called Big Brother Naija 2018. According to Onochie, the Nigerian government has no power to move or stop immoralities on the show as it was an adult programme. Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has revealed that he extended an invitation to President Buhari to come to Benue and console with victims of Fulani herdsmen attacks, but it wasn’t honored. Speaking on a television programme last weekend, Ortom said that as president, it was Buhari’s duty to provide citizens of the country with security but failed to take action to curb the killings. Chinese authorities have demanded "severe punishment" for a man who allegedly stole the thumb of a terracotta warrior statue on display in the US, Chinese state media report.  The 2,000-year-old statue, worth $4.5m (£3.2m), is one of 10 on loan to the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. Last week, Michael Rohana was charged with theft and concealment of a major artwork, and later released on bail. The Terracotta Army is one of China's most important archaeological finds.
