Over An Inflation Inquiry, President Biden Was Captured On Camera Calling A Reporter A "Dumb Son Of A B——."

During a White House discussion with members of his Cabinet on competition and pricing, President Joe Biden used an obscenity to disparage a reporter who yelled a question about inflation.

Before the midterm elections in November, Fox News' Peter Doocy questioned the president if he felt inflation would be a "political burden." A hot mic captured Biden's reaction.

"More inflation is a fantastic asset," Biden stated. "What a dunderhead of a b——."

Biden had grumbled earlier that he was being asked about the developing crisis in Ukraine instead of the White House Competition Council meeting, which focused on the administration's attempts to foster economic competition and lower consumer prices.

Doocy informed Sean Hannity of Fox News that the president called him an hour later to apologize for his remark.

Doocy claimed Monday night, "He called my cell phone and said, 'It's nothing personal, mate." "I appreciate it that he cleared the air. We had a pleasant conversation."

This is the president's second appearance on the hot mic in as many days. Last week, Biden was overheard criticizing a reporter for asking why he was waiting for Russian President Vladimir Putin to "make the first move" in Ukraine.

Biden has a history of being caught in awkward situations with the microphone.
