US President Joe Biden has rejected criticism that improved unemployment advantages are maintaining Americans from taking new jobs.


Biden stated any unemployed American provided a "suitable" job should take it, or hazard dropping unemployment benefits.


Republicans have blamed awful financial records remaining week on the Democratic president's selection to prolong extended unemployment benefits.


The US introduced 266,000 jobs in April and the unemployment price edged up to 6.1%.


Economists had expected from 900,000 to two million jobs. Yet there are 7.4m unfilled positions, in accordance to the US labour department.
