Khafi’s family seeks facts on brother’s killers

A year after he was killed, the family of Alexander Kareem, the late brother of reality TV megastar Khafi Kareem are appealing for clean facts on their son’s killers.

“We would do whatever to have our Alexander back, and so would the neighborhood that he was such a large part of,” the family stated in a statement on Metropolitan Police website.

“In what has been an unbelievably difficult year for us as a family, the hardest part of all is that this story has not ended.

“We proceed to urge anyone who is aware of what took place that night to call the police, or call Crime stoppers totally anonymously. We trust that someone inside this neighborhood is aware of what has happened, please assist us.”

“This year was going to be his “his year”, a entire year of milestones he was so excited about.

Kareem was fatally shot in Askew Road, Shepherd’s Bush on Monday, eight June 2020. He had been riding an e-scooter alongside Askew Road to a friend’s house.

According to Met Police, it is believed a white Range Rover, drove past and shot him in a case of fallacious identity.

“The white Range Rover was discovered burned out just 25 minutes later on Ascott Avenue,” Police said

Police stated the boy’s demise investigation has considered more than 20 officers involved and hours of CCTV poured over.

They stated officers are still eager to hear from anyone with data or who may also have been in the region at the time.

“Anniversary patrols by officers took place the previous day and will take place throughout June eight too,” the police said.
