Callum Fitzpatrick labored at his parents' grocery shop when he bagged the life-changing sum.

The Man Utd fan, from Ballymartin, County Down, realised he had the triumphing numbers when he used to be babysitting for his Aunt Geraldine in 2014.

He stated at the time he planned to purchase a vehicle for when he was 17 and to see his crew play at Old Trafford.

A spokesman for his local soccer crew Ballymartin GAC stated the club was "deeply startled and saddened by the tragic unexpected passing of our buddy and teammate".

They added: "The whole community of Ballymartin and surrounding region of Mourne is heartbroken.

"Callum will be sorely missed by everybody involved with Ballymartin GAC.

"A wonderful, shrewd young man, an amazing buddy and teammate, tragically has left this existence too soon."

The club cancelled on-field play at its grounds till further notice out of respect.

Callum, who had been residing in Belfast, died on Tuesday in unknown circumstances.

He leaves in the back of dad Colin, mum Sheila and sisters Tierna, Corragh and Meagh.

Those who knew him have been paying tribute to Callum.
