An FBI dive Team Has Joined The Hunt For A 3-year-Old Texas Girl Who Has Been Missing For Two Weeks.

On Tuesday, an FBI underwater search team arrived in San Antonio to assist in the search for a 3-year-old girl who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Lina Sardar Khil was last seen on December 20 at a playground at an apartment complex.

Lina Sardar Khil is a writer. San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus said on Twitter that the search near the property on Tuesday was part of an investigation into every feasible site.

"I wish I could be a little more upbeat." "I realize it appears that we're on to something here, but all we're doing is following up on leads," McManus explained.

McManus would not specify what led detectives to the scene, which was described as a wooded area by NBC affiliate WOAI of San Antonio.

"We follow up on everything we get that has any kind of potential," he said. "That's what we're doing here today."

Although the FBI was participating in the search, the federal agency's dive team, which arrived from Washington, D.C., has specific knowledge. McManus said.
