More than 20,000 Scotland soccer fans flood into London without tickets

A dispersal order has been imposed in central London after law enforcement officials stated they predicted 'anti-social behaviour' with thousands of soccer fans in the capital.


About 20,000 supporters are stated to have packed into the town ahead of Friday's Euro 2020 match between Scotland and England.


The Met Police stated it would take motion in an effort to convey down expected crime in the area.


The force stated in a statement: "Due to the high profile UEFA EURO Football match between England & Scotland on Friday 18th June at 8pm and the expected anti-social behaviour this may additionally bring. A section 35 dispersal authority has been implemented.


"This has been accredited by Inspector Dodds from 1500 hours 17/06/21 till 1500 hours 19/06/21 in the West End area in an attempt to minimize the probability of participants of the public being caused alarm harassment and misery and the prevalence of criminal activity in the local area."


London police officers watched nervously from the sidelines as bemused joggers and couples on pedaloes looked on at the guys in kilts.


Eight riot trucks were parked up with about one hundred officers at the scene to respond if things got out of hand.
