Mitch McConnell Has Just Sent A VERY Clear Message To Donald Trump About 2022.

Mitch McConnell's whole being is and always has been focused on winning the election. Every move he makes and everything he says is part of a larger effort to make sure his team ends up with more seats and therefore more control than the other guys.

And, on Tuesday, McConnell made it clear that he believes former President Donald Trump's continued focus on the 2020 election is downright damaging to the GOP's chances in the upcoming midterm election.

McConnell will come to a complete rebuttal of Trump and the strategy, as it stands, that the former president is focused on trying to prove voter fraud (non-existent) in the 2020 election. The 2020 election is underway.

Over the past months, the effort was taken to another level last week when Trump suggested that unless the last election is called off, future elections would be useless.

“If we don't solve the 2020 presidential election fraud (which we have documented fully and conclusively) Republicans will not vote in 22 or 24,” Trump said in a statement via his Save America PAC. “This is the most important thing for Republicans to do.

This statement brought back bad memories to Republicans who lost not one but two Senate seats in Georgia earlier this year since Trump (and many of his allies closest) focused almost entirely on the 2020 election to the detriment of those two polls that transformed McConnell from Senate Majority Leader to Senate Minority Leader.

Asa Hutchinson has said more or less the same, insisting that “tying 2020 is a recipe for disaster in 2022.
