Banky W reacts to ‘sale’ of reality show ticket


Nigerian R&B singer and actor, Oluwabankole Wellington, aka Banky W, has raised an alarm over a fake campaign on social media.

The campaign is demanding people to pay N5,000 to be in a reality show with his family.

Reports on social media had claimed that fans and followers were being scammed into a fake reality show with the star singer.

Reacting to the development, The ‘Wedding Party’ star advised Nigerians to not pay any sum, as such information was a scam.

Banky, on his official twitter handle wrote, ”I hear there’s yet another scam on Facebook.. charging 5k to be in a reality show by the Wellingtons. Please ignore, it is a complete scam.

”Please do not send any body money to be in any tv show or to join any label, it is a scam’.’
