5 people shot close to Garfield Park

Five people were shot just west of Garfield Park late Tuesday, marking the city’s 2nd mass shooting that day, according to Chicago police.


Four guys and a woman suffered gunshot wounds during the attack in the 3800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m., authorities stated in a media notification.
