England QUALIFY For Euro 2020 Knockout Stages

 England are assured to attain the knockout stages of Euro 2020 after results elsewhere ensured they will at worst qualify for the last-16 as one of the fantastic third-placed teams.

England won their opening match of the tournament 1-0 against Croatia with Raheem Sterling scoring the only goal, before a drab 0-0 against Scotland followed on Friday night.


The results on Monday night additionally means that if Scotland beat Croatia at Hampden Park on Tuesday, they will be guaranteed to go through, with their tally of 4 points impossible to be worse than Ukraine and Finland's three points.


Steve Clarke's side will be without star man Billy Gilmour, though, after he tested positive for Covid-19 in the aftermath of the England game.
