 MANCHESTER City ace Riyad Mahrez is engaged to Taylor Ward after sixteen months of dating.


The loved-up sportsman got down on one knee today as the couple holidayed in Mykonos, Greece, alongside her parents, former footballer Ashley, 50, and ex-Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn, 47.


Riyad proposed after lunch with a £400,000 ring he had customized made.


A source said: "Taylor was not expecting this at all, and was completely over the moon.


"She and Riyad make an great couple, and they're so loved-up.


"Riyad chose the ring himself and had it particularly made.


"There was a massive, champagne-fuelled celebration party afterwards."


The couple will continue the celebrations with their pals and family over the coming days.


Riyad, 30, and Taylor, 23, bought a new £2million mansion in Cheshire earlier this year after she moved into his luxurious flat last December.
