A Young Dad Sheds 3.5 stone in just 16 Weeks By Eating Unlikely Breakfast

Paul Harrison knew he had to make a change.
He was overweight, stuck in a rut and was sick of being a slob.
So he and partner Louise decided to join a gym and ditch their unhealthy lifestyle for good.
Just 16 weeks later Paul had lost a staggering 46lb, dropping from 16st 12b to 13st 8lb.
And the whole family have benefited from his health kick now that he insists that they all go out on healthy walks together before the kids are allowed to play on their Xbox.
Floor layer Paul, 41, from Astley near Wigan explains: “I was sick of being a slob.
“I just used to live on fast food. I was always eating on the go - if I was hungry I would pull in at a petrol station and grab a chocolate bar and a bag of crisps to keep me going till I got home.
“I was just snacking all the time, drinking too much, going out a lot.
"If the football was on I would get six cans of lager, for no reason other than the football was on telly. I realised that I had to change.”
Paul and Louise, 36, joined the Ultimate Performance gym in Manchester, where they were given a nutrition plan as well as knuckling down to three tough training sessions each week.
Soon they found that their mindset changed - as well as their diet.
Out went the fast food, chocolate bars and beers, and instead they were filling up on lean meat, fish and loads of veg.
Paul started to see results after just two weeks, which gave him the incentive to keep going.
Paul says joining the gym has given the whole family a fresh outlook on life - and unless something benefits their health or is making a memory they don’t do it any more.
“We’ve got a new house and before we might’ve gone into a furniture shop and bought a £300 coffee table.
"Now we think about what we really need in our lives - we don’t need a £300 coffee table, but if we saw a weekend away that cost £300 we would go for it as it is making a memory.
“The more you think about it that way, it becomes natural to you.
